The Canadian Galactic Plane Survey Pilot Project
The Canadian Galactic Plane Survey (CGPS) pilot project surveyed the W3/4/5/HB3
Galactic Complex in the Perseus spiral arm using the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory's
(DRAO) synthesis telescope (ST). Details of the observations can be found in
Normandeau et al (1997, ApJS 108, 279). The abstract and the paper
are available.
Observations were made simultaneously at two radio continuum frequencies, 408
MHz and 1420 MHz, as well as in the 21cm spectral line of atomic hydrogen (HI).
